Your financial contribution will make a Big difference to our kids in Orillia. 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orillia & District raises 100% of its own funds and all the funds raised directly support our local programs. This ensures the organization can provide quality programming, careful screening, proper matching and ongoing professional support to all volunteers, children and their families. This professional support ensures not only that Big Brothers Big Sisters meets the National Standards set down by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, but also meets the high standards of service expected within our own community.

We currently support approximately 150 children in a variety of mentoring programs which include one-to-one matching, couple matches, in-school mentoring matches and "Big Bunch" group matches. We also offer monthly group activities for our entire membership which facilitate the physical, social, intellectual and emotional needs of everyone in our program. These programs are sustained through the efforts of minimal staff and approximately 120 volunteers.

Financial contributions are an integral part of our ability to sustain our programs.  We also appreciate the donation of tickets to sporting and community events, which allow our matches and families opportunities which would not otherwise be possible.
